The newly re-designed web site for morning show "Star & Buc Wild" on Pulse 87 FM has been receiving some positive feedback and I thank those who have left your emails or comments to the station or to the site.

As I continue to modify and enhance the site, the re-design has clearly helped guide new visitors with new subscribers to the website everyday, and with those regards I had a chance to meet the staff early this week at the Monday after work party at club Plumm, which takes place every Monday evening starting from 6pm to 11pm.

Fans and listeners of the show get a chance to chop it up with the crew that are dedicated enough to come out on a Monday night to meet the fans and then get ready to do it all over again with I'm guessing less then 5 hours of sleep before they hit the station again for the next broadcast. Thanks to DX21 who is detrimental to the crew, for the on air promotion Tuesday morning. Sound bite is below.

This week a newly appointed banner was added to my site, as well as some other decals, and though not the most interesting news, most WP designers take pride in adding some flare to there blog sites. Web design today is almost synonymous with blogging and something that use to only be conceivable by professionals has rapidly taken a different turn. One example is the creation of "myspace" a simple application turned into a global fixation. I am guilty of still owning an account though very seldom do I participate in the mindless messaging that comes attached to being a registered account holder. I saw an amazing boom in normal everyday people suddenly becoming competitively consumed by customizing there Myspace account, diligently searching the web for HTML codes and images to add to their pages. It could even be considered the coder boom. Something that generally was done by your more then likely coding professional was now being handled by average users, not to say that HTML was such a great mystery, just about anyone could pick up a book and start. Although if you go back a few years earlier, you would find very few people that could mention or describe what HTML was.

Now with blogging, just about anyone can create a simple site, using a CMS (content management system) to moderate the flow and tone of their site. Allowing your average person to choose from a barrage of themes and layouts, it has certainly left designers with a small field to feed from, though creating the necessity for invention and design exploration. I among millions have utilized a blogging tool to create and manage this website and there's no shame in it, if that's your vehicle on the web, one thing is certain, the need to create compelling content and websites is on a slippery slope. Now that just about anyone can create a site, designers crave to produce sites that are more attractive and visually more stunning then what some competitors have to offer. I myself have strayed from the coding forefront and have focused more on design itself, in all forms. Staying sharp within the HTML, javascript or CSS, world is a difficult task as coding gets more complex, but this is only my opinion. Thus why I have added some extra spank to the site, and as I continue trucking, I'm sure its not the last of my efforts to creating something pleasant to look at.

After a long and grueling 2 months of out of office work, things finally seem to slow down a bit, I managed to re-design the current theme for "star and bucwild" morning show all whilst office work loads seem to be ten fold. As the summer winds down the only thing I missed was a ten foot shark in Rockaway beach last week- according to fishermen. I've gotten some feedback about this newly appointed portfolio site, all have been positive, ranging from old clients to fans of the work, and a few from new visitors or googlers. Its all very appreciated, I think all blogs range from pertinent to useless information, and my posts are by no disguise a combination of both. As an artist this is just another form of expression to showcase my likes and dislikes, for all you that keep coming back, maybe I can make you a T-shirt.

After toting the Imagination Squared Logo for over 7 years I have newly created my own insignia to brand on paper or cows. Its a bit daunting to start building my own brand from the ground up again, but its definitely rewarding as an artist. The chance to reinvent yourself and get the juices flowing once again. Being a creative individual is a life long journey, it and your creativity only ends with your final breath.

This year I managed to go Scuba Diving for the first time, which is a big deal, especially when you don't have a license to do so. I traveled to Sosua in Dominican Republic this past winter and ventured into the abyss for the first time. Although the depth was roughly 33 feet, the visibility of the boat and sky become a distant memory as you descend downward.

Once on the ocean floor small fish quickly greet you, as they are already aware you bring peace offerings, in our case crumbled bread in a water bottle, not exactly shark chum but they quickly nibble at the bread that shoots from the bottle when you squeeze it. Its definitely an incredible experience being able to swim along with schools of fish while hoping you don't bring one up back in your pocket. For anyone that has attempted Scuba Diving will agree its like entering a new world, thankfully not in your birthday suit. What are good times without forgetting them and thanking God you have it on film. I've posted some of the video, most importantly the descent to the ocean floor, though I should have my video filming license revoked for having my finger over the lens at the beginning of the clip. You might want to turn some of your own music to this clip since all you can here is Darth Vador breathing heavy.
