Whose Watching?
Back when I created Whoseleft I stumbled onto an interesting fact and added my discovery to the site located here. New York has serveral hidden cameras that not many are people are aware of. These cameras in particular are being broadcasted on certain websites. Whether you know it or not, New York City and some other cities in the US have many hidden cameras all throughout the city.
In Nyc there are about 8 cameras hidden in mid town Manhattan. Mainly in the same area. Which in this case is 42nd Street. Which happens to be the biggest intersection of the city, not to mention the cities core. It seems today that most of the city's biggest and most lucrative businesses are located at times square. The cameras are displayed on earth cam's web site. You can find nyc cams and cams in other cities such as boston, philly, vegas, seattle, london and a few other cities. You can watch the cameras flicker in new images every other second, like a slow feed, but you can also watch streaming video if you click the option.
When you click the streaming video option the video comes in faster, in real time, which makes it a bit more interesting to watch. It gives you this warm and fuzzy feeling, like your spying on people in the city and possibly someone you know that works within the area. Just another reminder that Big Brother is watching.
